About Us

 

The mission of Dramabananas is to provide a high quality theatre school experience, at an affordable price, for young people in their local area.  We aim to make every class as accessible as possible, build confidence in those young people who are new to or uncertain about the performing arts, and instil discipline in those who are familiar with them.  We aim to provide equal opportunities for all students to gain theatre skills, develop their natural talents, perform or contribute to the production process - and excel. 

 

Articulate young people with healthy self-esteem are best equipped for entering the adult world.  I believe that the skills young people can gain at Dramabananas will prepare them for all the challenges of growing up.  Through the creative process, young people use teamwork and problem-solving skills, enhancing their communication skills, widening their vocabulary and strengthening their social and emotional skills.  All in addition to having a lot of fun!

Days and Times:

Mondays 6:00-7:30pm ages 4-11

We are hoping to start a class for children

aged 4-7 years (years reception-2), to offer a

more age-oriented experience. Please get in touch if your child falls into this age group.

Thursdays 6:00 - 7:30pm NEW CLASS for ages 11-14 (school years 7-9), please get in touch to be put on the waiting list.
